Escola POMPEU FABRA – Vilanova i la Geltrú – El Garraf – Barcelona
Commissioned by the City Council of Vilanova i la Geltrú, we installed sails in Escola Pompeu Fabra de Vilanova. It was a winning proposal of the participatory budgets. This proposal was designed to provide solar protection to the central area, between sports courts and playground.
ARTURO SORIA School – Madrid
Installation of Shade sails in Arturo Soria School (Madrid): The school, aware of the problems of overexposure to the sun and wanting its students to enjoy the outdoors safely, decided to install several shade sails. Several sails were placed between facades.
Escola JOAN ABELLÓ – Mollet del Vallès – Barcelona
At the Joan Abelló School in Mollet, we have installed sails shade to provide the little ones with a more comfortable and safe outdoor space. This installation covers the children’s playground area, offering optimal sun protection during their playtime and outdoor activities. With these sails, children can enjoy a cool and pleasant environment, promoting their well-being and development while playing and learning under the protection of the sun.
ESCOLA THAU – Barcelona
We have carried out the installation of sails shade sails in different phases and in different areas of the THAU school in Barcelona, with the aim of improving the comfort of the outdoor spaces and providing protection from the sun. Each area has been designed with a tailor-made solution, integrating the sails into the school’s architecture to maintain a balance between functionality, safety and aesthetics. Thanks to this intervention, students can enjoy outdoor areas with greater wellbeing and protection, favoring their use at any time of the year.
Escola SOLC – Les Corts – Barcelona
At l’Escola Solc in Barcelona, we have installed sails shade on the sports court, creating an ideal space for outdoor enjoyment and physical activity. These sails not only provide efficient sun protection, but also allow children and young people to enjoy their sports activities and their “casal d’estiu” in greater comfort. The installation contributes to improving the quality of the educational and recreational environment, creating a cool and safe atmosphere during the hottest months. In this case it has been possible to take advantage of many existing structural elements for the anchoring of the sails.
JOSEFINA IBÁÑEZ School – Abrera – Barcelona
Commissioned by the City Council of Abrera, we made installation with many sails of different colors in Escola Josefina Ibañez de Abrera. It was a winning proposal of the participatory budgets. This proposal was designed to provide sun protection and color to the outdoor spaces of the center, creating a more cheerful and comfortable environment for students.
Escola JOSEP JANÉS – L’Hospitalet de Llobregat – Barcelona
Installation of Shade sails in l’Escola Josep Janés de l’Hospitalet de Llobregat: The Management Team of the Escola Josep Janés de l’Hospitalet de Llobregat, aware of the problems of sun overexposure and wanting their students to enjoy the outdoors, decided to bet on the physical and emotional health of their students and made a significant investment for the installation of approximately 300m² of shade, distributed in two different areas of the playground.
Escola JOAN SOLANS – Granollers – Barcelona
The City Council of Granollers, aware of the need for sun protection and anticipating many years before the fashion of “climate shelters”, took care of providing shaded areas with sails shade to many of the public schools in the municipality. L’Escola Joan Solans was one of the beneficiaries of this initiative. These sails not only improve the comfort of the students during sunny days, but also contribute to create a healthier and more pleasant environment for learning and outdoor activities.
Educational center – Turís – Valencia
Project of approx. 240 m2 of shade for playground in a school in Turis. Teamwork: From the AMPA of the center the need was assessed and the first contact was made, from the City Council the promotion was assumed, from Catvela we made the design proposal and provided the materials and from the Technical Services of the City Council and with the municipal brigade the installation of shade was executed.
Institut de NAVARCLES – Bages – Barcelona
Installation of Sail of Shade sails in Institute of Navarcles (Bages): From the Management Team of the Institute, aware of the problems of solar overexposure and wanting their students to enjoy the outdoors safely, decided to go for the installation of a shade of 80 m2 for the picnic area. Sail of 80 m2 fixed to two anchorages on facade and two posts on footing.
